I have a sony C6603, and since Friday it hasn't been functioning. It was working fine then suddenly turned off and wouldn't turn on. It would not respond even when plugged to the charger. I left it on the charger overnight and still nothing. I have tried rebooting it bu simulatenously holding the power on/off and volume down/up all combinations but nothing happens. Yesterday i tried plugging it on the charger and the red LED light came on but after a few minutes it was off again. I tried pressing the power on button for 120seconds and it did not respond.
As a last resort i tried using the repair function on PC Companion but it didn't work, the PC doesn't recognise the phone.
Please help.

It might be that your battery is dead, especially if you noticed shorter battery life and/or random drop of battery percentage lately. You should contact your Local support or visit a 3rd party repair shop and get your phone examined by an expert.

I have the same problem with my Xperia Z and I notice this issue is listed as Solved ???
What is the update, did the suggestion actually solve the problem ?
Same here, my Xperia Z C6603 is suddenly showing battery level behaving erratically and intermittent boot cycling only when connected to USB charge but not completing boot sequence. Was this problem sloved by batteryreplacement? Seems inappropriate to call the issue solved with no update on the actual remedy.
