intermittent charge

Hello,

I have a very specific problem with my charge.

When I plug the charger in, it makes the sound but no visual indication that it's charging.

If I leave it like this the battery level will stay the same and after a while a message will pop up saying that im using too much power and to try using the phone less, though the phone has been laying on the table by itself.

If I turn off the phone to charge I do get a charge screen, but the battery level never changes.

At no point do I get a red led indication of charge.

When I turn the phone on again, the battery level shows as being significantly higher, but only for a minute.
Then it drops down to near where it was.

Im charging through USB, and the problem is definitely not the problem.

I dont have this issue all the time, mostly it charges fine,
And the whilst writing this I have my charger plugged in and the battery level has been showing 5% the whole time.

I've found a solution.

Using a heatgun I warmed the phone.

Now the phone charges normally

Hi,

Have you tried different to charge the phone with different chargers? Otherwise, I suggest that you open the SIM-card cover > Here you should see an OFF button which you can use the tip of a pen to hold down for 5-10 seconds > When the phone powers off, connect it to the charger and let it charge for 2-3 hours.

Did you read all of my post?

Yes I did, but no where in your post I can see that you have used the OFF button. Therefore, why I suggested this.

The off button is just one of many ways to turn the phone off.

Assume I'm not stupid

i have this same problem... no charging when unit is on.

The unit WILL charge when OFF (totally off, not hibernate) but WILL NOT charge when ON in in hibernate mode.

That does not seems right...  have you come across a real solution for this
