Every time i crack my screen the phone goes unresponsive to touch, even if it's just a small crack. Is there a way to at least answer a call without touching the screen? My family thinks theres something wrong because they can't contact me. Does it have to be like this every time i crack the screen? I really like Sony and i don't really want another phone.

Sorry to hear that your screen is cracked.
As @alexdon says, one option is to use smart call handling. It needs to be enabled in the phone though. If you still see the display, you could connect a mouse using a OTG-cable and enable it:
You can handle incoming calls without touching the screen by turning on the Smart call handling function. Once activated, you can handle calls in the following way:
- Answer: bring the device to your ear.
- Reject: shake the device.
- Ringtone off (mute): place the device face down. This action mutes the ringtone during an incoming call without rejecting the call.
To answer a second (parallel) call and put the ongoing call on hold:
- Lower the device and bring it back to your ear.
To reject a second (parallel) call:
- Lower the device, shake it or tap reject.
Android™ 6.0 To turn on Smart call handling
- From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
- Find and tap Settings > Call.
- If necessary, select a SIM card.
- Tap Smart call handling.
- Under Smart call handling, drag the slider to the right.
- Tap ALLOW.
Another option is to connect a headset that has an answering button.

@elii I think Z3c should have smart call handling under call settings. But what exactly do you mean by every time you crack the screen?

Thank you! This solves it for a little while. I completely forgot i could answer with earphones! And when i get my screen fixed, i'll be sure to enable smart call handling as well.
