I am having the same issue. I have repaired the phone using PC Companion and it seemed like it had fixed the issue but the next day its now draining the battery again very Fast. Only 17hours in Stamina mode and 9 hours without Stamina mode on. Biggest culprit appears to be the Screen using up the battery even though i have turned brightness all the way down and turn off my Data when i dont use it. I firmly believe this is due to Android Lollipop i have had my phone for 1 year now and this issue occurred right after updating it to Lollipop.

That's normal, what you can do is to disable the Bravia Engine

9 hours battery life on full charge is not normal for this phone. When I bought the phone the battery lasted on average day and a half or 2 days now it just about lasts a day in stamina mode - also there is no setting to turn off Bravia Mode in Android Lollipop. Like I say I believe this issue is due to Android Lollipop. I am going to Downgrade back to Kitkat to see if there is a difference. If not then it can only be a faulty battery imo

Hi! I've just bought Z2a. After update to 5.1 I found the bug. In battery monitor I see that top of apps which drain battery are very strange. Every app has mobile data active for many hours. But I don't use its. Stamina is on. I search about it and discovered that this is android problem https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=165558

Can you provide a fix for it? Or how can I downgrade?
Sorry for bad English.

@dmitrylap

You have 2 options to downgrade

either contact your local Xperia care or use flashtool

But wont the simple downgrade using basic flashtool ruin or loose DRM keys??
