Battery chart

Battery chart

I've upgrade the phone form the latest KitKat official rom to the latest MarshMallow official rom.

After this i performed a factory reset.

After taking a little familiar with the new interface, I realised I wasn't able to check the battery chart related to various (let me say) "components": wifi, signal, ... the graph showed (in KitKat) touching again the battery graph showing the consumption of various apps.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think that also with MarshMallow I have to follow the same way... but when I touch again the battery graph showing the consumption of various apps i have no changes.

In few words I can't see the consumption of wifi, the signal, gps...

I'm doing something wrong?

Here the screen record

@sverza From what I can see, the hotspot is not visible and there is no way to activate that.

About wifi, it won't show up unless it uses enough battery to be relevant.

Thanks for the answer.

Sorry but if I correclty read the link refers to another item: the preloaded period of the battery chart.

My request is a little different.

Example: for one day (entire day) I had alsways the wifi ON and I suppose this has used the battery.

And the wifi wasn't reported on the battery graph. Is it correct?

Another thing: I had the hotspot ON for more than half a day and surely this had used a lot of battery.

In battery chart panel, no way to see it (or the wifi)

Just to know: is it possible to touch on the battery chart in orther to check other items (like in the KitKat version)?

About more detailed information, that is not available. You can only expand on the available list below the graph.

Related to your first two concerns, I will try to grab some info on this.

mmmhhh, as other users wrote: wich is the reason? this isn't a question for you, just a my personal question... why?

A part this, in case the hotspot is activated (for example), should it be showed as application that is/has using/used battery?

@sverza

If you leave WiFi on, it will continue scanning all day, which it will drain the battery faster. Back in lollipop you were able to see how good or bad your network coverage was, and how long the phone was kept active by an app (usually a third party app), since that's gone, you need to download a third party app to scan what's draining your battery.

This user here also reports that in time wifi and gps are not available on the battery graph:

Ok, I see.
Strange decision by Sony side. I'm curious to know the reason...

You could try to write an email to your Local support but nothing more I can help you with, these kind of decisions are taken by superiors.
