I have a pair of Bose QC35 Bluetooth headphones.
when i connect them to my PC using my Asus BT400 dongle, the headset plays with excellent audio quality - which i bet is AAC
when i connect to my Sony Z5 Compact (Android 7.0 - 23.3.A.2.33) - the quality is significantly lower and thus i suspect that the codecs used is SBC instead of AAC ...
A: Is there a way to detect the audio codecs used ?
B: Is there a way to force AAC ?
