XZ Lagging after updated oreo

I'm Kevin from Indonesia. I have some problems with this phone. My Xperia XZ's performance getting down after updated to Android Oreo. Please someone give me solution for my problem.

I was having the same problem with my phone but fixed it.... perhaps it is not solid solution Sony must should go for an update... 

go to settings 

system 

developer option (if not found tap on build number for 6 times) 

scroll down to find "background process limit" 

tap and select "at most 4"

Hi Kevin, I'm from Indonesia as well. I also experienced the lag since Android 7, I heard that the problem was on the dual sim version that appear to be my device. There's nothing to do with the original version of firmware, i want to try flashing with european firmware to see if there's any change. I already played so many game that stutter and had low frame rate. Now i play PUBG Mobile with lowest setting possible and still experiencing lag and stutter for such a Snapdragon 820.

Lol. I like their android Nougat version coz smooth and stable. Last time upgraded from nougat to oreo via OTA. And the device lags until general functionality also down. But, (in my case), the software repair (in oreo build too)  via Xperia Companion works and the day after, phone is quite smooth and fast without constant heating problem, applications crashes. Quite like Sony. ♥

Me too, With Nougat all things run smooth and fast but with Oreo it feels like using old phone, I remember with J series I ever used before.
