I can't change my lock screen wallpaper after I updated to Build 39.2.A.0.327
Tried the safe mode and restored to factory settings but i can't get the option neither in the album app nor in the settings.
Open the album app > select the picture > tap on the picture > menu > Use as > Lock screen wallpaper
There is only the option to change the background for me but not for the Lockscreen
Hi @tubbl,
Welcome to the community.
What about under the main phone Settings > Wallpaper? Do you have the lock screen option there?
Thank you for your help.
I just found the option to change the lockscreen. I'm used to do it as suggested but it has changed for me for whatever reason to
album app > select the picture > tap on the picture > menu > Use as > Wallpaper > Lock screen
or
Settings > Wallpaper > Album > select the picture > Lock Screen.
So you have got it sorted out now? Must have been some minor changes with Nougat I wasn't aware of.
Yes, I have. It's so unintuitive for me to click on "Use as > Wallpaper > Lock screen" (one click more than before) but that's how you have to do it now.
Hello...
I tried the above 2 methods;
"album app > select the picture > tap on the picture > menu > Use as > Wallpaper > Lock screen"
and
"Settings > Wallpaper > Album > select the picture > Lock Screen."
But i still couldn't change my lock screen image...
( I can still change my background, just not working for lock screen )
There is a default message of "could not set wallpaper" that appears every single time.
This phone is only 2 months old...
