Xperia X10 and Live.co.uk email acounts

i have been trying to add my live.co.uk accounts to my xperis x10 but for some reason it dosnt want to take the settings. now if its a live.com account it works no problem.

Could somone please give me the propper settings i need so i can add live.co.uk accounts to my phone as any info i find on net is for adding live.com acounts. would greatly aprecciate it Cheers

I have a live.co.uk account and the settings, which work on my W995, are: For POP3: address: pop3.live.com, encryption: SSL, Port:995

For SMTP: address: smtp.live.com, Encryption: TLS, Port: 587, Authentication: Same as POP3. And don't forget to use your whole email address as your username. It makes no difference whether your account is live.com or live.co.uk in terms of the incoming and outgoing server addresses, but the other settings may be different. Hope this helps.

tried the setting but the out going settings do not work. incoming settings work fine.

Just googled live.co.uk pop3 settings and the first hit (among many) I got was Outgoing Port needs to be 25.

See if that works if not have a google around or have a look on live.co.uk's help pages.  It'll be the port number that's the problem... had the same with setting up my virgin media email on the phone.
