Tethering

Hi, trying to connect to my laptop and it comes up with Enter Network Security Code. How do I find this.

To set up Wi Fi Hot Spot tethering between your phone and teh PC this is what you need to do.

1) Configure the Wireless HotSpot network on your phone

2) When the PC asks you for the network security code, it is the password you used to set up the personal WI-Fi hotspot on your phone.

For 1)  Go to the settings menu ---> Wireless and Networks ---> Tethering and portable hotspot.

Then select Port Wi Fi hotspot settings to configure.

Obviously you must be aware with the Open mode, there is no wireless security at all and very easy for someone to eavesdrop on you while you are on the internet. eg. especially if you are doing banking and financial transactions.
