slow processing

Sir, my xperia j is getting very slow. Im even facing problem in writing txt messages,it stucks often. I tried to with an attempt by restoring it. but its not getting any faster.  plz help

I update only the build number from 11.0.A.3.16 to 11.0.A.3.28 and now it works pretty good, there is no more lag.

My phone sony xperia j have same problem.

This problem happen after i update new firmware 11.0.A.3.28.

Hope Sony Support can give me firmware version 11.0.A.3.18 or 11.0.A.3.16. i want to downgrade firmware xperia j.

Hi there,

I also using xperia J almost 1 month from the first time I bought it.  Yeah, that's true that after a few days using it, the phone getting slower and laggy.  But, after I tried to reset it using reset setting, but not the factory setting, the phone seem better.  And after using apps like the memorry booster and fast reboot, it works fine. I hope Sony keep seeding update for this phone. Love this phone

I purchased new Xperia J last month but, it really disappointed me. Only within ten days mobile had came up with lot of problems like app hanging, touch problem, etc... Sony really sucks like bugs. Even I took to the service centre the people all unable to find what the problem is and playing games to  wash out from their hands.

my phone is now at sony centre.. hope it gets better soon.

my xperia j is as well in repair centre but I dont have any hopes to get it better. the problem is that ram and CPU are too low for ICSandwich. Sony promised that it will resolve the issues for ICS for the phones with such specifications. O2 in UK made own decision not to update to ICS with Sony phones that have 500 ram and 1G processor. When I called Sony they insist that they have made a good (?) decision. as far as i can see the problem is constant and often. the only solution would be to go back to GB on such phones or take them out of production and refund the customers. on my phone i have disabled all possible soft and using only couple light ones installed from google play and my phone screen freezes 5 times a day. i miss calls cannot access my phone in need. i had lots of sony reliable products starting from cameras, phones and ps3 and always was happy. damn but not with xperia j. the market is rough but such brand as sony making such rubbish in my opinion might mean only one thing, the cmpany is about to bancrupt

my experia also experienced same problem , did update to the latest 11.0.A.3.28 , for a while it is okay , but now starts lagging again...hu,hu...

After i've made the update the phone it was working pretty good now, since las month i got many freeze screens when i unlock the phone (don't work the touch), after 5 minutes it works or i have to disconnect the battery. I get crashes from many aplications... This phone it pisses me off. It's a waste of money!

possible solutions.

       1.When you finish using an app, go to settings and click on apps and make sure its not running...

       2. You do not have to sync constantly to google or facebook adjust your settings accordingly either manually and when it finishes exit.

What am trying to say is do not run 3 heavy apps at the same time and sync and expect the phone to be smooth. Everyone knows the RAM limit so should not expect more than 5 processes at the same time. Moreover I own this phone and I will be patient for an update having not spent more than 200Euros its ok. Just imagine if you would have spent 300Euros and above to get this and it would have been easily that price if they anounced hd video recording.
