How do you proof the magnetic sensor? use the compass funtion in google maps on example?

I AM USING SAME DEVICE (LT26I ) XPERIA S AND I AM FACING AUTO ROTATION ISSUE I.E.- SENSOR ISSUE AND VOLUME KEY PROBLEM..

I TRIED TO DO SERVICE CHECK BUT WHEN I CLICKED ON ACCELOMETER IT SHOWS THAT THIS DEVICE DOENT SUPPORT THIS FUNCTION
