RAM(memory usage) on marshmellow 6.0.1

on my Z3+ (E6553) when i check memory usage(3Hrs) - it shows 2.2 GB used and only 581 MB free avaible ( i have jst reseted phone 2 days back)

Android OS is consuming around 900 MB all the time. i feel its too much memory consumption. in other phones running on marshemellow shows aroun 600 MB for android OS .. why in sony it take too much. is there anyone facing same issue ? how can we optimise it ?

Android OS - 0.91 GB
Facebook - 279 MB

System UI - 139 MB

Android System - 133 MB

Google Play service - 119 MB

Messanger - 114 MB

Xperia Keyboard - 81 MB
Phone - 73 MB
WhatsApp - 70 MB

You could try restarting the phone in safe mode, and checking the ram usage again.

Android OS comprises not just the os but all the features you use the most, safe mode is quite bare bone and not all the features are on.

You may want also to check the memory usage with wifi off, Bluetooth off, nfc off and so on...

If then the ram usage doesn't go down then try with a software repair, there could be something stuck or not working properly due the software upgrade.

it seems that you should use the search bar to look for similar posts. 

Also, you could repair the phone with XC > boot in >>> safe mode and take screenshots of this

I jst wanted to know how much is android OS consuming on other Sony Xperia Z3+, jst to make sure if its correct or i need to reset phone. so i hope some Xpiera Z3+ users will share their memory usage of Android OS.

and regarding other post .. obviously it was my older phone Xperia SP so i have thread for that phone .. it doenst make any sense to put my Z3+ query in Xperia SP forum ....
