When I woke up this morning, my phone's battery was less than 50% after being on the charger all night, and it said something about not being able to save a message because the phone memory was full, which didnt make since cause I've got about 90 MB of free space on the phone internal memory. However, when I went to delete a few files, the phone froze and restarted, but it deleted everything. Now, it says "No Netw. Coverage", the Wi-Fi doesn't work, PC Suite 6 on my computer doesn't recognize it (but windows explorer does, as i can open and view files on it from 'My Computer'), even though it says "phone ready to be used with computer", and when I try to charge it, it says "battery cannot be charged. you must use a sony ericsson battery." I can't make or receive calls or text messages, get on the internet, or update the software and it's becoming extremely frusterating. WHAT DO I DO??
Given the circumstances, the only thing I can suggest is to perform a master reset on the phone, after charging it up as much as possible and backing up all your data on the PC.
It won't charge. I've tried resetting it 4 or 5 times.
In that case, you need to contact SE. Which phone is it?
It's a w995, but I bought it from Amazon last july, so I don't think it's under warranty.
In that case, you should be able to return it and get a refund.I have a W995 and these phones normally have very stable software, unlike the one you bought which sounds like it's been messed around with.
