How Do i remove the option of "unlock pattern" once i have enabled it?
Just go back to where you find it and deselect it. which phone are you using?
Hello
In the X10 big its in Menu>Settings>Security, I don't have it set as we had a nightmare on my son's phone with it , but assume you can deselect it from the same place that you set it.
There is also an issue of not being able to sign yourself in with a Gmail account after you have locked yourself out. The phone will need resetting which may well result in you losing data/contacts and installed apps. Think not having it is a safer way to go personally!!
Although it is not difficult to flash a new set of firmware into the phone after getting locked out, it is a pain to have to re-enter or restore all the rest of the data. I would suggest not using the pattern lock thing. Too many people have had quite a bit of issue with it.
I responded to a thread on another forum and apparently AT&T in America make you use it, you can't unselect it. That really is a pain in the rear end!
Sigh.... This is the downside to an open source OS.
Isn't it possible to re-flash it to get the feature back and uninstall it?
