How do i block a number?

HI thank you dr chris for your response - the trouble is i have is i need my phone to accept other calls from other numbers not in my contact list for work.

Is there not anyway to block one number than to restrict it to a specific list? Its very important i keep this number but dont allow this person to get through.

Well then, just put all those numbers in the list of accepted numbers; I don't think there is a limit, and you can still keep the unwanted number(s) in your Contacts list.The other option is to ask your network to block that number, but you already said that wasn't possible.
