doesn't recognize SD card x10 mini pro

I hope some one will be able to help me.
I just got my x10 mini pro today. The SD card delivered with the phone works, but is not large enough for map data. So I wanted to use a bigger card 8 gb. It's a new card, but the x10 mini doesn't recognize it. What can I do? How can I solve this problem? The card is not broken, I can use it in my nokia and read it on the computer.

I would suggest you run the SE update service on your phone.

You can also wipe any dust off the memory card slot in your phone and clean the contacts of the memory card.Hope this helps.

Hi. Don't know whether this will help? But your sd card will not be accessable by your phone whilst your phone is connected to your computer via the usb cable. Well this is what hapens when my phone is connected. Hope this is helpfull.
