guys here's the catch. i just bought my brother Xperia M4 and something is really strange, the phone charges only when it's turned off but it has a stop and go while the phone is on, any suggestions on this matter is it software related or ? thx in advance
plus i also noticed then when wifi is off and the phone is connected to a pc it charges, so when wifi on and connected to charger doesn't charge, but when the phone is off it charges also when connected to pc confusing ....

Do a quick boot to Safemode and see if the issue continues, if it does not then you are looking at third party software causing the issue. If not then it may be something affecting the OS which in most cases can be resolved with a software repair,

Hi, I've been a loyal sony electronics customer for, never had any issues until i bought my brother the M4 aqua i know most of the phones had a factory defects but the point of my writting is PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD Sony chose wisely who will be your liscenced service in the god damned countries the phone is not working properly, screen turns it self off the back cover is not glued correctly, please make some changes who services your product be a god damned serious company for once when it comes to service. I've been without the phone for over three mounts and they refuse to change it stating that the phone is in completly working order when cleary it's not i don't want even to consider switching to other brands but please have a more tight control who services your product and the way they represent you in my country aka Republic of Macedonia i hope someone with Sony Mobile will read this
I'm sorry to hear that, but this is a user based forum, could you elaborate on the issue? Does this happen even without the SIM and SD cards?
yeah i know that this is a user forum but i hope some representative from sony mobile is reading this to see what type of people are servicing their phones, this is the problem that i had, after three months the call speaker and microphone stopped working when i sent the phone to service they kept it for about three weeks, and when i got the phone on the receipt it said that they changed the antenna board, the tochscreen ( idk why when it was working flawlessly) the glass some thermal lining. when i picked up the phone and after three day the touchscreen started working weird, regestering ghost touches, while scrolling or just typing the phone would go to sleep like pressing the power button, the network coverage was awfull and the back plate was peeling out actually it wasn't glued correctly and the phone was overheating like crazy and woudn't charge correctly sometimes would sometimes would and yes i checked the chardger it's okay, then i sent the phone for the second time and then they kept it for two weeks and when finally reciving it in the receipt the service centre said that the phone was working correctly but the back plate was still comming off and when i put the sim card it took 10 minutes to lock the network just to calrify the sim is not damaged i'm using it in my phone a Z3, immediatly ( for the third time) i sent the phone back and they kept the phone only for 5 days and thursday afternoon when the phone was returned the receipt said that the phone was ok and in normal operational condition when it's clearly not and now i'm stuck with a phone actually my brother's phone (which i bought him as a xmas gift) that doesn't work correctly and the operator VIP Macedonia where i bought it said that they can't replace the phone because the service centre Mobico which is said that is an official Sony service centre says that the phone is working normaly. can somebody please help me, the phone cost me 300 euros which is by no means cheap. I hope that sony will hold a more tight control about who services their phones. this is a catastrophy sorry for the long post but this experience is killing me i thought that sony was a serious company.
The purpose of the forum is for us, users, to help each other, you have to stay in contact with your Local support and perhaps ask to speak with a supervisor.
Hey guys i wanna hear from you, long story short the phone was 5 times at service and the centre refuses to fix it claiming a damage when they actually damaged the phone, this is my last sony phone together with the z3 (the screen glued off and the centre said it's not under warranty when it's clearly a design flaw because many people are having this issue ) the service is TERRIBLE (sorry sony i love you but gotta put the centres in line), but i wanted to ask did any of you experienced a screen black out when pressing the phone on the back between the nfc logo and the sony logo ? even the gentlest touch turns the screen off like pressing the power button. what could be causing this i wanna know so i can fix the phone by my self and sell it cause i can't take it anymore i tried to contact sony via twitter and facebook but no who cares about the loyal customers like the other companies !!!
Don't create duplicate posts, why are you trying to contact Sony through twitter and facebook, you have a hardware issue(s) and you need to contact your Local support and get it inspected. If your phone it's water damaged then request a vacuum test, that will prove who is at fault, if you've used third party magnetic cables and your Z3 was damaged due to that, the warranty won't apply, etc.
