Can not pull down notification bar when phone is unlocked

Hi, 

My Xperia Z3 works fine except that I can't pull down the notification bar when phone is unlocked. However it works when its locked or in auto rotate mode. Any help would be appreciated.

@danushank Test your screen from diagnostics, there might be some small cracks in the upper part.

tried running the test. I am able to do the touch screen test which I beleive is what contributes to the notification bar but had no luck since the touch screen test is accurate. The notification bar comes down when I auto rotate and pull horizontally .

@danushank The entire screen responds normally? In this case, boot in safe mode and see how it goes.

Thanks for that again. It still doesn't work on safe mode where as all others in the screen work perfect. It's just that I'm wondering how it works when the screen is locked and auto rotated but not when its on potrait.

It might be because when it's locked, you don't need to swipe from the upper part, you can swipe a bit lower and get the notification bar.

Hi guys, so my quick settings bar dont work when my phone is unlocked, actualy I tested touchscreen and i cant use 2-3mm of upper screen BUT when I am in a lock screen entering my password or doing something i can open/slide down tak quick settings bar
Can some1 tell me why it is like that and is there way to fix this?

No, I upgraded it few weeks ago and everything was normal unitl yesterday when that happend.
Look at this : http://prntscr.com/bhumze - can you see this white at very top? I cant clear it so that part of screen dont work and cant open quick settings

hmm, i see can you try to boot in safe mode?

regardless try to do a software repair, if that doesn't work, it might mean a hardware problem, and you need to send your device to your local service center Local support
