Hello there, try downloading a file manager - Astro has its own image viewer so might be useful in this instance.  Pictures are normally stored in the DCIM/100**** file (the letters replaced by stars are different on my X8 and X10 so not sure what they would be on the mini's).

If you take a picture and tap on the top right icon in the corner of your screen can you scroll through your pictures you have taken.

Don't apologise! Linda is a good file manager and has its own benefits but I would also get Astro if I were you (I have both) but in Linda tap on SD card then look for DCIM.... let me know whats in there.

Let me know when you have got Astro on your phone, that takes you directly in to the root of your SD card and the DCIM file should be there!

Then there should be a folder inside called 100MSDSF which contain all the pictures.

Edit: I just downloaded Linda file manager for my X8, all I do is click SD Card and then scroll down to DCIM, 100MSDCF and all my pictures are there.

It sounds like you have a problem!  I wonder if you create the file DCIM/100MSDCF then your phone will be able to save them there.

Did you format the disk at any point or change the one that came with the box for a larger one?
