Android software upgrade??

The peria X10 mini pro has the firmware version Donut (v 1.6) while newer versions like Eclair (v 2.1) and Froyo (v 2.2) have already been released and the other manufacturers have already used them in the phones. Android systems is ready to release the next version of the OS: Gingerbread (v 3.0) while we still use the crappy 1.6 base version.

When will the software upgrade to atleast 2.1 or 2.2 be available for the X10 mini pro users?

Where do you live Xperience? My companion has no info on the update yet. That's in The Netherlands...

Updated my x10mini tonight. Lost all my contacts and apps. Used the sync function to get my contacts back. Will dl the my old apps manually I guess. Situated in Norway btw.

Good idea to make comments on where you live when you updated your phone!!! That way we can keep track of when the differents kits come live!

Uptil now the update kit has been released in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland... There rest of the world is waiting!

In general, you will be informed by the phone itself. Clever isn't it?! Be sure to follow the instructions on the video below and download the things needed to install the new software as smooth as possible!!
