Android software upgrade??

The peria X10 mini pro has the firmware version Donut (v 1.6) while newer versions like Eclair (v 2.1) and Froyo (v 2.2) have already been released and the other manufacturers have already used them in the phones. Android systems is ready to release the next version of the OS: Gingerbread (v 3.0) while we still use the crappy 1.6 base version.

When will the software upgrade to atleast 2.1 or 2.2 be available for the X10 mini pro users?

tHE UPDATE would be based on the country u purchased. If u have bought from UAE, then ur phone wud get only wen its available for UAE

Thanks for passing on the info buddy,but don't u think it is rediculous that i can't update it when it is available in india,suppose i purchase a fone in UAE and gifted it to someone in india, will he not be get the update anytime....that is something really a funny method of rolling out the updates.

Hi! I just want to share that I'm from the Philippines and I received a notice through SE PC Companion yesterday that the update is already available. I tried the steps and my phone has the latest version already :smileygrin:

hi all...i update my fone just now to 2.1 its kool...but the problem is that i am unable to download anything from android market, when i try to do that i get the msg that page not found or something lke that can anyone help me out plss......

finally,,,,,my long wait is over!!!i kept going to sony ericsson service center here in manila only to be said that no update yet is available!!!!i downloaded the latest pc companion and plug my usb cable to the my x10 mini pro and alas!!!!the pc companion says there is a new update for my phone!!!!the update went smoothly and after ive turned on the phone again,i now have the 2.1 android update!!!shame on the staff of sony ericsson service center!!!!!
