VGN-AR31M 4GB Installed but only 3GB Usable

Hi could someone point me in the right direction.

I have a VGN-AR31M which I have been told supports up to 4GB. However I have juat installe this but Windows 7 64 Bit is showing 4GB (3gb Usable) Is there a bios update or chipshet update that will allow the OS to pick up all of the installed memory.

The NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 GPU used in your model uses shared system memory and this may explain why you only have 3 GB, of the 4 GB, usable.

You can check this out by opening the NVIDIA control panel and then click on System Information (bottom left of window). This will show the shared system memory.

When I had just 2GB I could see all 2GB. Is there anything else I can do to enable the OS to view the full 4GB
