Vaio Wireless internet problem

Been having this problem for awhile now when using my vaio fe21m wireless internet connection.

My connection keeps dropping and in most cases i have to reboot to get it back.
Also the switch where u turn it on has become unstable as i have to push it on with some force to get the little light to come on.

Could it be my wireless addaptor is broken or a driver issue?

you shouldnt need to push wireless button with force to switch the wireless on the light will come on when a connection is established check to see if your routers broadband light is on and that your broadband provider is not updating your router as you cannot use the internet if the router is been updated
