Sony VAIO FZ11Z Sound Issues under Windows XP SP2 (Speaker and Earphones simultaneously)

Hello!

I´ve downgraded my Sony VAIO FZ11Z to Windows XP SP2.

After the Installation of the Microsoft UAA Patch (kb835221) i installed as Audio driver for the integrated Sigmatel CXD9872 Soundcard the driver from the "Sony VAIO FE31 Drivers Package".

All seemed fine in the first days with my new FZ11Z. But i got confused as i plugged my earphones the first time in for listening to music.

The internal speaker and the earphones make sound simultaneously. Thats terrible because i can´t watch movies or listening to music eg. at traveling or if i´m not at home alone.

I´ve tryed several Sigmatel HD Audio Drivers out. But none of them fits to my system and fixes the issue.

I´ve heard about Apple Macbook Windows XP Installations with the same Problem:

Do you have any suggestions. I´ve seen the Problem on four other Sony Vaio FZ11Z Notebooks with Windows XP SP2. So the Problem can be reproduced.

thanks for your suggestions!

with best regards
