Memory Upgrade

Hi all, Can anyone help me? I have just tried to upgrade my RAM on a Vaio FR415. The notebook works but it doesn't seem to acknowledge the upgrade to 1GB. It has been suggested that I change the BIOS to automatically detect the installed RAM, but I can't seem to change the BIOS for the memory. Can anyone help?

Hi Chris T and welcome to Club Vaio.

The "Total Memory" in the BIOS should automatically update to 1024MB.

What specification memory have you installed? Have you tried other software to check what is installed?
