New driver for Nvidia Gforce 8600M GT

Hello all!

I have a VGN-AR41S and I want to know if there is a new driver for the graphics card (Nvidia gforce 8600M GT)... as Nvida does not distribute drivers for notebook graphic cards I cant find something...

Current driver (preinstalled) is 7.15.11.117

Hi Manogr and welcome to Club Vaio.

There are no newer Sony released drivers which will have been fully tested.

However, you will find all the latest Beta drivers here: -

All nVidia drivers work on all nVidia cards including Notebooks. In order to install on your notebook you will need to download a modded .INF file and add it to the driver download. Read the tutorials on the site.
