Intel 945 Drivers

Hi,

I got a Vaio VGN-N21Z/W (Vista) and have some problems with my video Intel card.

I've read in some forum that's a known problem but haven't see any explanation on Sony website.

Playing with a wow game, the video often turn to black during few seconds then come back. It's not really disturbing except for the frequency, about once by minute. I've read that an upgrade of drivers exist. I've download it on Intel website and try to install it on my Vaio but have a message telling me that it wasn't validated for my PC and then is cancelled.

Does sony have a drivers upgrade for the GMA 950 (Intel 945) ?


Edit : I forget to tell the problem send a message about igfx that doesn't respond

WOW should be compatible - look at the Intel website: -

You cannot update the GMA 950 driver as the graphics are Sony OEM and only a Sony released driver will install.

I suggest you ask Sony when they are going to release an update because I don't believe they are planning to do so at the moment - but I think they will just say that this Vaio is not designed for modern games as the Intel Graphics are just basic (and cheap).
