infrared remote of my vaio CGX-TP1E is not working anymore after automatic Windows Update

Hi,

when I unpacked my TP1E the remote was perfectly working: staring media center controlling everingthing and all.But (i guess) since some automatic Windows Updates or maybe an update of the Amazon Unbox Client the PC does not react to the signals anymore. The indicator light still shows activity, I can even use the remote to start the XBox 360.

But the PC does not react any more. Any ideas?

Lots of problems re the remote for this seems as though no one knows why.

No idea, but what do you think of this machine? I've been looking at it and it's rather interesting design wise.
