Hi

Can someone tell me how to adapt Windows 7 so I can read file extensions.At the moment they are hidden.

I need to read them so I can change , txt to tab, for an upload

Hi SimplyRead,

welcome to Questions & Answers..:smileyhappy:

Open a folder, My Documents for example..

Click on Organise..

Followed by Folder and search options..

Then click on the View tab..

Scroll down until you see Hide extensions for known file types..

Then click on the tick to unselect..

Finally click Apply and OK
