Extended Monitor

I am looking for help in getting my extended monitor to work properly, I can only get the attached monitor to work on 800x 600 or 1280 X 760, I need it to work on 1280 X 1024 it used to work OK. I have tried it with other monitors but problem still exists.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

What Graphics Adapter does it have?
What Driver version are you using?
What Operating System are you running?
