I have an 18month old FW11ZU, with a matshita uj220 blu ray burner unit. It continues to read/write cd's, read dvd's, read blu-ray's, but will not burn DVD's or Blu-ray's. I've tried re-installing firmware, removed/reinstalled burning software etc to no avail. imgburn fails with 'Unable to recover TOC'. CloneDVD fails with 'WriteDVD 10 11 W2' error. Is this a 'soon to be ex-blu-ray burner'?
