capture video on xl302

I have just purchased a XL302 and have been unable to capture from either avermedia card at the rear of pc. Is this a common problem or am i doing something wrong. Even via click to dvd. Only analogue capture that is available is video 2.

I am thinking that if install avermedia software i will be able to capture via that. But will this affect mediacentre settings for freeview.

Hi Robert and welcome.

If Click2DVD shows a Video Input it should capture through that input. It is a matter of identifying "Video 2".

Try the Video & S-Video inputs on the front of the XL.

I can now capture on rear video port via click to dvd but i was hoping to use roxio 10 as i am used to the interface.

But i will just have to persevere
