Can somebody help me please,I just got Bravia tv KDL 40S2530 and Sony laptop VGN -AR 41M.The cabel I got is S-video ,......when I conect them I can see the same scren on my laptop and TV ,but on my TV screen is BLACK & WHITE.I think I need onother cable but don't KNOW WICH ONE....I want to set up media center and everthing....Any HELP WELLCOME.TA.

Hi Damir,

I think your TV had a HDMI connection. This will be the best quality cable to get (HDMI -> HDMI).

I am not sure why S-Video does not work if you are using S-Video to S-Video. You cannot connect S-Video to Scart. With S-Video you also need a stereo sound cable.

I bought HDMI to HDMI 5 metre cable for £42 pounds at maplins and about £6 for a RCA stereo to 3.5 jack. S video seems to be for cameras and the like.

Yep HDMI here too. Blu Ray on a Bravia is really something to behold.
