20GB HDD from PCG-GR314MP OK in GR214MP?

Hi! Am hoping to use a 20 GB hard disk drive from a Vaio PCG-GR314MP (1.2 GHz, WinXP Pro) in a PCG-GR214MP (1.0 GHz). Any views of whether this is likely to work? Will I need to install additional drivers on the 214MP? Any comments welcome! Thanks.

Thanks, Kee-Lo, but getting to the programs installed on the HDD are the most important part of the operation... an enclosure wouldn´t allow me to run them.

It would, but you don't want to carry around an enclosure - there's already enough with the laptop
