Blue Ray Disc on VGN-AR21S will not read original Vista CDROM

Hello,

I would like to re-install Vista on my VGN-AR21S but the Blue Ray Disc is not able to read the original Vista Installation Disc. Can anybody advise me what to do? I already cleaned the lenses with a CD-Rom lens cleaner. Also it will not boot anymore from the original Vista disc, so I am not able to re-install my operating system anymore. The computer comes from Computer Pirates.com but they refer to the Sony servie desk, can anybody supply me the contact details from Sony repair desk in the Netherlands so I can send my Sony to them to have it repaired??

To find the contact details for Sony Vaio support..

Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support

Under Log-in option 2: Select your VAIO model, next to Select Model Category - Select your model from the drop down list, in your case VGN AR.

Then next to Select Model - select AR21S

Then click Log-In

Once logged select Get In Touch

Alternatively, see if a local repairer in your area can give you a quote to replace your Vaio's CD/DVD/BD drive..
