I have just moved into a new home and want to disconnect the plug cable from the TV in order to feed the cable through the hole in the top of a cupboard down to the plug socket. However the plug is moulded on and the cable doesn't seem to attach easily from the TV end.
well theres only really 2 options here, one chop off the plug and fit a new one or two use a short extension lead and remove the plug from that, at least that way you dont chop up the original lead.
