Yellow tint

Anyone else have a yellow tint on their display?? I have it quite bad on the bottom of the display and both left and right hand edges of display running from top to bottom. Is it possible with a firmware update that this issue could be eliminated. J had read on one forum that ICS update SHOULD solve it. Something to do with the colour calibration. I have also heard that it could be to do with colour temperature of screen,  or the glue that was used to put display together.

Any advice would be gladly appreciated as this is ruining my experience with this device.

you haven't stated if its a new MICRO sim card or new REGULAR SIM that was trimmed to fit btw do you have

the Xperia S? Neo V? Xperia Arc? which Xperia is rebooting?

i was also having same problem of my xperia s..there was a huge yellow tint in my phone but thanks to sony i go to service center and they changed my device now its ok and fine thank u very much sony love u always...

Just got my Xperia S back from the Texas repair center with a new screen.  Device is missing one of the rear screws and wasn't all the way snapped in on the rear lower right.  New screen has three marks in the clear screen sheet over the glass one of which appears to be a gouge as I can feel it. I am already seeing yellow tint on this new screen as well though its not as bad as the previous one. 

Gonna play with it for a while and see how it looks once the phone gets warmer.

no,, right now new xperia s is not having this kind of problem you can buy it...don't worry....its ok now and it's always amazing amazing phone from sony...

Hello. I had that same problem with my xperia s.

the mobilestore were i bought it woudht not fix by the phones garranty. the yellow tint is not a big enought problem to get it fixed for free.

I had also an microphonebug, (it only worked when it felt for it.

anyway, if you have an insurrance with your phonecarrier it can be done,

because of that i have a new better screen and some other bugfixes.

i got my Xperia S to service for already 10 days and it seems the yellow tint problem isn't affecting only a few but a big amount of devices since they told me they don't have the items to fix it at the moment so i have to wait 1 more week at least. wtf is this ? worst after sales and service experience ever! i got my phone for 1 month and already 10 days in service.

don't get it! mine is 1 month old and had the problem. and service got it already 10 days and stil no fix yet. Sony's service is the worst
