today and one month ago my Xperia Tipo has lost all contacts (saved on the phone) and the entire call history.
One month ago I have powered off (and the on) the phone because it doesn't find any wireless network, today the email app is gone into a loop and I have powered off the phone to solve the problem.
In both cases I have attempted to clear the task list by shifting all visible apps to the right (or left) before a power off.
I cannot to use a smartphone that forget my contacts when I reboot.
Ofcourse the phone shouldn't remove any of this without your permission. I would recommend that you try to repair the phone software as there is not setting to prevent this. Download PC Companion at the link below:

My smartphone is already running the latest version available of android
Yes, but you can still repair the phone software with PC Companion (Support Zone > Update phone software > Repair phone software).
The repair operation it's safe? Can it reset/break my app settings?
It will reset your phone, but it should also fix the issues you're having. Make sure to backup everything you want to save.
Even i too experiencing the same. it happended to me twice. really bad...
Quickest solution for "lost" contacts;
Go to contacts
press menu button (bottom right of phone)
select Filter
scroll down and select where you save your contacts, Phone, Sim etc
Make sure your selection is ticked.
Select OK
Go to fridge
Get beer
throw phone in the bin.
That last bit is optional ¦Þ
