Xperia T just keeps restarting!

Hi,

I have updated my software to 4.3 two days ago and since then phone is restarting every minute. Tried to use update service to repair and It started working well but the day after again the same situation. Could you please advice what should i do?

I had this restarting problem after I updated the software using PC companion. Since then I use repair, hard reset, factory reset. the problem always returned, not as many as before, limited to 2-3 times a day. I emailed the sony supporting centre in Switzeland, they suggested do a repair using PC companion, which I just done 3 days before, really couldn't be borthered, so I left it as it was

it was totally by chance, one morning I suddently found that I longer could use LTE connection, which I was using an hour before, so I went to my phone network's shop. They said I disable the function which I did not, because I could not registed on LTE connection, it antomatically locked me to 3G, yet there is no internet services. So I asked if there maybe a chance that something wrong with my sim card, they could not rule this possibility out, so gave me a new sim. My sim was really old, it came with my last phone, the Xperia Arc. I read somewhere that faulty sim may cause the Z2 to rebooting itself, but at that time, i was only thinking to get back to LTE connections.

I must say, the change of sim didn't seem to solve the problem, the frist 2 days, it still rebooted itself self. however, this is happening far less, this week it only happened once, which I could live with.

So is there now any "real" solution to this "you removed your sim card, phone is restarting" issue or not?

All the "solutions" I read so far sound like one time shots that help the one or the other, but do not sound like a general solution...

And did it help anyone to send the phone to Sony for a repair?

Because thats currently what I feel is my last resort to fix this issue...

I all so have the same problems phone will restart after I have updated my phone by pc compaion software every couple hours.

I have a short term solution, my xperia keeps restarting when not plugged in, or if I am under a poor wifi signal and using data.

I realized that if you turn off mobile data then you can still use the phone for messaging or phone calls {a not very smart phone}

I believe the problem lies within the battery and I found a couple you tube videos and bought a battery off amazon so I am hoping that will be a long term solution.

Hello guys. Im new here. I 'm jut posting this because I have the same problem sometimes. But I think I have a solution. I want to share with you all. Worked with me once. Follow the steps and keep me posted if the solution worked for you to. Hope it does:

1) Remove your SIM card from the phone

2) Restart your phone on SAFE MODE (somewhere in this discussion is posted how to do it)

3) When the phone is back on, insert again the SIM card with you phone in SAFE MODE.

4) At this moment, when you insert your SIM the phone restarts again automatically - ant then everything should be back to normal.

Notes: it was done without any knowledge whatsoever. I was pissed of.. and then puf!! It worked. Try this ... hope it works with you to. But please keep me posted if if worked. It was done with a new SIM card. I changed the SIM card because I thinked that was the problem.. but the problem is not in the SIM card because the issue started again with the new one. The SIM is not the problem but it's somehow related to.

It worked with me. I tried all the steps and solutions described in this forum but only this one worked. Sometimes we need to shut down the phone.. i shut mine down and then this happepned.

I tried all options from here and from other forums. Nothing works. All solutions people finds works only for them. I flashed many versions android and 3 different batterys. still starts doing it.  I tried to turn off much things i can and ...same..

Todays flashed again and was fine for 2 hours. I calibrated battery aswell..no differents.

After android 4.1.2 flash i tried turn on all i found...same. (blethoot,wifi.gps ect.)   from Youtube played 1.20 h long documentary. no problem for 2 hours. Once it started to restart it just kept doing it.

of course phone was ok until it was in contract with three. Contract ended end of April 2015.  So congratulation for me. No contract --no phone.

Hi , 

I have troubles with my phone , everytime when I restart my phone , everything like downloaded pics gets deleted , and my ringtones are set to default eg - when i download from zedge the ringtone gets default , but when I upload it with the xperia wizard the ringtone dont get default after restarting . whats the problem ? I updated my phone yesterday with the new version . My phone is XPERIA ARC S LT15 its an old version . Thanks
