So, guys, I've visited the shop where I bought the device. They told me I have to send it to Sony for assistance, it will takes AT LEAST 1 months in order to get the cell back.

Now, what should I do in the meantime? I need my mobile for my job.

I think Sony should give a courtesy phone (Xperia T is not an entry level mobile phone) otherwise I have to buy a new, functioning, device  and, you know what?..... I'm not gonna buy a Sony anymore!

Same thing happened to me. The phone has been in for repair for 10 days. Not buying a Sony again.

And what if the phone still reboots, even while getting charged from a wall socket?

Same issues here and also came to the conclusion that without USIM the phone works normal. Tomorrow a new one arrives(lucky no extra costs). This one wasn't even 2 months old 😕
And tbh, it doesn't matter how you say or bring it i still see the updateas the main cause of this. This problem is to widespread to be a coincidence.

I think guys I have the solution I did this and I'm not getting the problems. Nothing chrome works great and don't turn off and it charge very well
So if you want to try this just follow the next steps
1- make sure you have a backup all your data music pictures and videos everything you want
2- just make a factory. Just wait till it turn on again
3 wait 10 minures and turn off it again
4 download the following firmware
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B06ayP41FvrddjZGWDVPYm1qYmM/preview?pli=1. Thanks for the xda.user who uploaded this firmware
5- download flashtool. Search it in Google. And download the latest version
6- put the firmware. ( the ftf. File in flashtool /firmware / paste it here)
7- open flashtool. And go to the lighting. Icon and select it on flash mode chose the lt30p. Firmware generic UK. And click on flash
8- WARNING.! Before this process make sure you've turned off tour phone make sure the Micro Sd and the micro SIM. Are out the phone wait 1 minute)
Follow the flashtool steps and press the volume down button. And context the usb cable to the pc continue pressing the button till the led. Shows. Green
Wait till it finish never disconnect the usb. You can kill your phone. xd
Wait the flashtool. Instructions. And when it said disconnect. Just disconnect and turn on your phone and wait 7 minutes or more I think it'd first. Time it will take some time
I hope it works for everyone
I'm not responsible for any damage just if you're sure to do this do!
Im telling this because. I have this rom and there is not problem it don't turn off automatically. Chrome works. Great ( update first) Walkman. And movies works fantastic just I want to help please

I have the same trouble, someone calls, take phone out of pocket and it goes into restart. Pick up phone to take a picture.... goes into restart. pretty much anytime I want to use the phone it goes into multiple restarts.

It's hot in my pocket quite often, and when it does work it's generally slow to respond and hangs. if I ever want to take a photo the moment is gone by the time it's ready.

I've have Sony Ericcson for years but since dropping the Ericcson I'm not impressed. As stated above this is not an entry level phone. It cost a bomb and I expect a lot better. It's already been back to the shop for repairs twice and looks like it needs to go inagain.

Thankfully it's still in warranty but that's not the point. This is the most unrelable handset I've ever owned and has made me think twice about another Sony come renewal time.

Hi

You'll be happy to know that I figured out this problem after a lot of frustration!!!!!

This was solved by removing the extra 32Mb SD memory card.  For some reason it does not sit properly anymore in my phone and when inserted causes it to restart.  When I remove the card, it works fine.  When I put it back in the phone it works for usually a few days and then I have to take it out again and re-insert.  Not sure if the problem is with the memory card or the phone, as it works now most of the time ok without restarting.

Hope it works for you!

I've had the same problem, but I'm on 4.1. Tried uninstalling chrome updates, no change. Removed sd card, no change. Removed SIM, no change. Have now ordered a battery from Amazon and will try that. There is a post somewhere about hard wiring the negative terminals of battery and attached connector to bypass the power protection circuit. That's my last resort. Otherwise I'll be using an immobile mobile phone for the next 4 months. Only other thing I could try is using a portable usb power unit to convince the phone that it's on charge.

I'm having this problem for a few weeks, now the phone only works if plugged into the mains or if I remove sim it stays on and I can use wifi.... Doing my head in, Sony sent a repair but was useless only worked for a day. I've now to sent handset to them, I'm going on holiday so I'll do it when I get back as my phone is my camera.

Just wanted to add that this helped me out as my original sim was cut to size and after reading this I changed it to a proper one and no more restarting at all! It was happening daily before.
Hope this helps someone else
