Xperia SP INCREDIBLY slow after new update

I updated my SP like normal, and as soon as it booted, it is so much slower than it was before, can someone please help me to fix this, or help me return it back to the older version of android, where it was fine?

We bought Xperia SP coz it's design, esp, the processor 1.7 ghz (dual core) , so that we can use all the apps with blazing fast , But,  what's really happening is , I'm disabling every apps(Google Movies, Google News stand and others), So that atleast we can use this phone -AS A BASIC PHONE i.e., Opening Phone,message app or other basic applications without any lag. So what I'm trying to say is , the Ultimate purpose of buying costly smartphone is becoming redundant. This is so unexpected from Sony. 

Note: In 4.1 Android Version , My phone is extremely good with performance, although not with camera and few touch problems, But now(4.3) , Performance is extremely bad - Opening a phone app or message app, takes 5 secs.

Also, I've repaired my software version through SUS OR PC - which is not at all helpful. So,We want a software version without lagging atleast during opening a basic apps.

anyone notice that Xperia SP will  freeze after cleanup cache, uninstall App, exit browser erc...

yes, it freezes. so thats´s the reason why i clean my cache only one in month. after (during) cleaning the phone is useless at all. when the sceen turn off it´s impossible to turn it on. last time it took over 20 min - i couldnt accept call, phone just rang, screen didnt tun on...just useless. i would "cut" hand that person who launched this buggy, laggy and rubbish firmware!!! sony irritates me since launching 4.3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After las update to 12.1.A.1.205 so far so good. Phone.doesn't freeze, chace cleaning is smoorh,but... I won't thank for fixing these and many more issues because this shouldn't happened and Sony shouldn't launch so laggy and buggy software at all!!! And because of that many of us have changed sony for something els. I hope sony learned it's lesson!

Just installed on my Orange SP and has made no real difference as my SP has always worked OK. However it looks like this update is only available to Orange and T Mobile customers so far. I hope they role it out as my son's SP is on O2 and it is really and I mean really bad. My wife's SP is supposedly identical to mine also on the Orange network and I am currently updating it as iI write, but as with the previous firmware update, it is taking a very, very long time. Mine was done and up and running in about three minutes tops. Just hope this fix speeds things up...  Its just finished and took around five minutes. Not bad I guess.

UPDATE:  Just tested the wife's phone with the new update and what a difference, it's so much faster, thank you Sony about time! Now all you have to do is role this out on all the other networks, preferably starting with O2.

Update: Just been over the O2 community forum and someone is saying its available for download via PC Companion. Will give it try when my son is home from school. He's home and were checking out the phone. For some reason could not get a download via USB and PC Companion. However upon switching on the WiFi, the new update was available.

Last Update:  The O2 update is available to WiFi download directly to the phone! Loading to my sons phone as I write... 213 applications to update... As with my wife's phone everything is so much faster! I think they've finally fixed it ! For the first time games play fast and smooth, apps open as they should. My son is well pleased.

I hope this is a permanent fix, GPS has always been good and I use the SattNav frequently. All they have to do now fix the poor camera and I will be well pleased.

im facing same issue , 

since my phone serviced by sony singapore

(replaced new hardwares and OS update)

lot of lagging ang death slow .

all apps keep hang again and again

any better solution?
