Xperia SP INCREDIBLY slow after new update

I updated my SP like normal, and as soon as it booted, it is so much slower than it was before, can someone please help me to fix this, or help me return it back to the older version of android, where it was fine?

here's the bad news it starts off as really slow if you are like me now the battery lasts half a day withut using it and the screen stays on for 2 secs and turns off all the time. Everything slows down and soon none of your messages, logs, contacts will load!

but how do you update with SUS when I loked I can't find an update for the SP? PC companion will not allow me to back up files or repair phone as it says SUS does not support my SP. software. I'm really stuck now because my phone doesn't work at all any more

Why do you say SUS does not support SP?It doesn't let you repair?

i have spoken to them several times and all they tell me is we don't know how to fix it. SONY PC COmpanion will not repair or back up my phone either apparently it doesn't like my windows 8 and SUS doesn't have software engine to help the SP apparently. I'm just onto a 2 year contract too but looks like i am going to have to look for a new phone that def is not SONY!

U have to run your SUS compatible with Win7, or rigjt click mouse button on sus icon, properties, troubleshooting and it will run. I had the same problem using my win8.1

which is of absolutely no help whatsoever. I was told by an agent that some people have had theirs debugged already but they couldnt tell me when. This is the most unbelievable service I have ever seen. Your agents are all polite but 3 of them have said to me sorry don't know when, don't know  or why PC companion or SUS doesn't work either hope you have a nice day!

but pc compnaion won't let me back up or repair says my software is incompatible and sus says i already have latest version any ideas why you could use PC companion and I can't?

I don't use pc companion at all. When i wanna reinstall my phone i just use sus. What kind of os do u have? I suppose it's won8, am i right? So make your backup to sd card by mobile app in one phone. U don't have to backing up by pc companion. Then use sus (run compatible with win7) to reinstall phone.

let me think, oh because that's what has happened and SONY were on the phone to me while I talked through the fact that SUS says i'm up to date after going around the houses to find xperia SP on it and PC companion says I do not have the software to repair the phone. SONY operator, 2oh I don't know why that is".

want to hear something funny? back up and resore does not work on my phone either! what gets me is that they are still selling this piece of crap even though they know it doesn't work. they should be reaclling all the SP phones and replacing them.
