Hi All,
I have bought xperia sola a month back i was satisfied with this product till now except few lackness like old headset not supported etc.
But two days ago my actual problem has started this device has giving me errors for "Process com sonyericsson.process.eventstream has stopped unexpectedly" there was no single application that was not giving the error including "facebook.katana" "process.conversation""process.messaging" "process.media" everything, in short the whole phone was misbehaving.
Then i read one of your discussions stating that an update may fix all such aforesaid problems.I followed all the steps which the update process mentioned .Gone through PC companion , prepared computer , installed updates on my PHONE, when PC companion alerted me that "MY PHONE IS SUCCESSFULLY UPDATED" i need now to disconnect the phone from computer and then after 5 seconds or so it will get started " THE PHONE WILL TAKE MORE TIME TO START AFTER THE UPDATE AND THE LOGO MIGHT APPEAR SEVERAL TIMES"......
For the max of my terror and dis belief the phone has not started yet....even for more than 12 hours it has continued to do the same......"MY PHONE IS STILL SHOWING SONY LOGO AND THEN TEND TO RESTART AGAIN"......
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET THE PHONE WORKING AGAIN....WHAT WAS THE SERIES OF "UNEXPECTEDLY BUGS" ....WHY IS MY PHONE NOT STARTING.....PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I DISTRUST SONY FOR EVER....
PLEASE HELP ME GUYS....

I sugest asking your provider for a sim card change.
EowynCarter is right, you might wanna contact your Provider but first, a question.
Are both SIM cards from the same provider? If so, contact them about your problem and test the SIM in front of them. If not, then something weird is playing here.
Hi Milito,
Friend hope u r doing very well, i am here again to annoy u .
I am facing a different issue this time in my xperia sola.
Whenevr i plug my earphone into my mobile, it sometimes only play through left earphone and not both, then after little adjustment it goes through well.Same is applied when i keep my mobile phone in pockets sometimes it randomly stops playing the when i push the head of earphone pin into the socket of my phone it starts again.
I have checked my earphone with other devices , it is working fine ...........
DO U THINK MY MOBILE PHONE'S SOCKET HAS BEEN A TROUBLE.....DO I NEED TO CHANGE IT.....?? :smileysad::smileysad::smileysad:....IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY.....
WILL THAT BE COSTLY .... I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO TROUBLE OF CHANGING IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.......:( :smileysad:...
PLEASE SUGGEST FRIEND WHAT TO DO???
CAN I COMMUNICATE TO U DIRECTLY VIA UR EMAIL id........IF U CAN PLEASE PROVIDE ME UR EMAIL ID.....SO THAT I CAN ASK U DIRECTLY.....
Have you tried with different earphones? I mean with a different jack. If it's okay with another jack, then the earphones you're using might need a replacement. If with another pair of earphones (jack) still the problem persists then you might need to clean the port of your phone. I'd recommend trying first with many different earphones and then proceeding below
A quick search on google will help you out . Here's a nice guide where you can try first before investigating further.

You can always PM me on my profile, it's the same thing :smileywink:.
MILITO,
Friend i did try with two earphones to my bad they both worked the same.what i observe is that when i press the head of earphone or if i shrug it into the socket of mobile it works even in my earphone ..........
When i ll go home i ll try to perform the second option suggested by you. Actually i don't have the brush either Alchohol to perform the operation, what else i can use to do so.?
In case this cleaning won't work do i have to install a new socket in my mobile phone.....
i really do not want to chage the original socket???
Do i have any more options......
No, the options are very limited.
I don't know if you can use anything else to clean it, try to buy these and see what happens. The port might be dirty and not make contact.
Else, if you think it's crystal clear you might wanna send it for service and they might replace it for you.
Good luck :smileyhappy:.
does this work as well if the Sola shutsdown repeatedly after upgrade to ICS?
