Waterproof Back cover scratched

Today I went to my local sony xperia shop to ask if they have spare for the waterproof back cover , apperntly they do not have one, and they don't know yet whent they would have it on stock, they told me to keep in touch just in case they have one available.

I don't know how it the waterproof back cover got scratched,is it part of normal wear and tear? my phone has its own pouch, and is kept from my separate pocket. and frankly, the ingress caused by the back cover is deep, I thought it was enough to protect the camera lens,  it's very awfull! it really affects the camera quality drastically. here are some samples I made.

Here you can buy a new battery cover for the phone. This is a Polish shop but they sent the cover to me to Ireland.

(sorry I can't help but ...)

Loving pizza and loving pizza hut are not the same thing.  In fact, they are pretty well mutually exclusive.

did I say I love pizza hut? (dont bother to respond, I don't want this thread to go off topic.)

What did you normally use to wipe off the glass?

Also, you should never wipe when there is dust on the glass, because the dust can and will scratch over time. Always carefully remove the dust with a soft brush or by blowing, before wiping.

oh snap, I wish I could have known that. I do wipe it using a lint free cloth, you know the ones that came free with a screen protector or a cloth designed for glass.. Crying_Face there is nothing I can do now but wait till there is stock .. really sad ,

You can safely use cotton buds and cotton pads after removing any dust. The pads you can fold so that you get a corner to clean the edges of the glass.

yeah I used those too.

I just did not really know that it was that bad (the scratch) because it cannot be seen, and I mostly used the camera underwater which produces best quality, but when I tried it to take a snap of the pizza (above) I was shocked to find out about it.

ill remember those tips next time, if this problem gets fixed.
