Walkman application is not very user friendly

Hello I just bouthgt live with walkman phone and after few hours I can say ... and it's not very confortable to use this application

It sorting songs by ID3 tags .. nice but what about ppl who just created folder for their songs and randomly added some songs from different interpets and now how can they listen to is?

Next .. repeat function is automaticky turned on ... and can't be turned off .. and if you want to listen to some songs till sleep.. phone will just play all night ..

I don't thing that walkman name should belong to this phone.

I had k750i before this and I can say that music player application was much user friedly than new walkman app..

Summary:

1. add option to play by folders

2. repeat function should be able to "turn off"

3. and that's it what most ppl want imho

What about update?:) .. I don't want to return this phone bcz I like it and this is very annoying

or can you suggest me what can I do?:)

and question, why they designed builtin app so poor? (I'm not expecting that you would know it )

Anyway can you recommand me any good free app for music? (I won't pay mony for that what should be in my phone )

I don't think you can use the Walkman™ button for another application.

You're right! I don't know why it was designed this way, but I can tell you that this is not a high end phone.

I would recommend you to go by the reviews of the applications you can find on the Play Store. You're the only one who knows what you're exactly looking for so it would be a good idea to test several apps and stay with the one you like the most.

Thats not about hi-end, I bought walkman bcz of walkman application and I hoped that I paied enough for one application :smileysad:.

So okay thaks for your help ... I started to think that I'd redesiging whole phone and doesn't metter if it will legal of illegal way.. I just want phone which would work as I say .. no as global marketing says.

Hi oglop I have just found by chance on a Vodafone site for Xperia phones that it is possible to turn repeat off. On the screen where track info being played is shown tap the screen where the track picture is and it will move and show four options one of them is repeat .

oh! Hello pigpen..! The repeat functionality that you're talking about in available in the walkman app in all other Xperia Smartphones but the Live with walkman. Such an irony

THEY WANT YOU TO USE A 3RD PARTY APP BECAUSE YOU ARE XPERIA 2011 USER.I BELIEVE THEY WON"T FIX ANY BUGS DUDE.

I LOVE SONY .I have SONY BRAVIA TV,SONY DIGITAL CAMERA AND SONY CAM RECORDER and LWW .BUT I WILL NOT BUY SONY AGAIN NO MATTER WHAT.THEY RUINED LWW WITH ICS ,MY PHONE BECOME ALMOST USELESS.
