I have tried all the things you say on my mobile and it still has the same problem. So please tell me what is causing this to happen as I have had the mobile now for 2 years and this is the first time it has happenned.

I have a Z1Compact. It was fine for 1 1/2 years. Now in the last month or so, it has been very erratic and unreliable. Many lockups and resets.

I've tried :
A) Factory reset

B) Sony Xperia software repair

C) Cache clearing

Nothing seems to be helping.

My memory space had been running out so I transfered many applications along with photos and music to the SD card. I wonder if there is an issue here. I will start deleting apps 1 by 1 to see if this problem goes away

It did happen with my Z3+ and I can not fix it at all. Because everything is unavailable -  sliding bar to enter settings, mtp mode. Only I can enter safe mode or do reset. Tried to install another launcher but it didn't offer choice. Please help.
