my phone wont allow me to use anything.i factory started my phone because it usually helps when my phone is full memory for no reason but now when it on it keeps giving me pop ups of unfortunatley ... and it keeps retarting by its self is there anything i can do.because it wont let me do anything like gp on settings it shows no apps at all.

Hey, I've got an Xperia Acro S. It's not that new... however I can't seem to make calls, but I can recive them. I also get a sign, saying something like, Xperia home has stoped working (like I got from other users here.. Guess it's the same messege as they've got). And I also get the same text messeges over and over again. From one person. I can run it in safe mode, and from there I can make calls. 

Any suggestions... I'll look through the thread some more.. sorry if the answer is there.. but yeah id like to fix this as soon as possible. Thanks!

I am experiencing the same issue.

However, I have a few extra comments.

This happened to me after I updated the Android OS.

My device (Xperia c4) is now locked on the Authentification screen.

The only thing I can do is to choose a new wifi network, besides that the device is completely locked.

Furthermore, I live in Israel but bough the phone in the US.

I just talked to Sony in Israel and they told me that since I bought it in the US my device is not covered by the worldwide guarantee (?!?!?!).

I then called the local tech lab Sony ISrael told me to talk to and they told me that they don't support the C4 device.

@SONY - Help is needed urgently.

Hi, Im having the same issue... The Xperia Home stopped working and its rebooting itself a lot and I cant even type this in peace... I've already tried to do this but the option to clear data of the Xperia Home is deactivated and it doesnt work... Also tried the Simple Home but it gets stuck as well... Im having this problem in my Xperia Z3Compact with Marshmallow 6.0.1.

ive tried clearing the home cache/data as suggested but the problem remains. tried booting to safe mode and it functions normally but how can i identify the 3rd party app thats causing my phone to misbehave?? any suggestion.??
