Transfer of App from Phone Memory to SD Car

Hi,

I have just bought Sony Xperia SP in India.

I have installed few apps and games on the phone.

I wish to transfer these apps and games on SD card however there is no provision of moving the same from Phone memory to SD card. The only option I could see was transfer to photos/ music & Videos.

Could you please suggest any option for moving the games & apps from Phone's Internal memory to SD card (a feature which is available in Xperia Neo).

I tried using few apps available on play store like App2SD etc however I was unable to move the games & apps to SD card.

Would appreciate your solution on the above.

Regards,

Ajay

Thank god i kept my Galaxy s4 it just shows how far sony are lagging behind everyone else, i have almost 80% of my apps on my SD card on my Galaxy and every picture, song and video and yet sony think 8gb (less than 5gb usable) of storage is enough... lmfao.

Oh and the bloatware on the sp is a joke facebook, 4 or 5 amazon apps, picasa and every other peice of junk that no one uses anymore, all that even though space is at a premium and of course in typical sony fashion you cant delete any. And any that have pictures show up in sonys pathetic "album" as blatant advertising rather than the perfectly laid out samsung one... Oh well thought i would give sony a go to see if they had moved on but apparently they are still obsessed with ruining the users experience.

Only one way to teach Sony and that is to walk, there are any amount of alternatives its just a shame Sony havent cottoned on to this (as per usual they will realise 18 months later than anyone else).

FYI perhaps if all of us dissatisfied customer started venting using this http://surveys.opinion-8.com/SE/SF/en survey link then they might actually start listening...

I am currently using Sony Xperia SP in India and it's working fine.

the only problem is that i cannot move my favorite apps to my External SD Card (Memory Card) because the internal memory provided is very less and insufficient. Almost 90% of the Sony Xperia SP owners are finding this as an issue; resulting in rooting the Device and voiding the warranty or switch over to the other Brands like Samsung, HTC, etc. Because they are listening to their customers and are providing this important feature to move apps to the external SD Card.

Please Sony, please understand our problem and give an update to move apps to external SD Card on the Sony Xperia SP.

Please provide an update- to move apps to external SD Card instead of providing Android 4.4 kitkat update.

I know it is difficult for you'll to provide an update to your 1 year old device, but it is not only my request, it's the request of all the Sony Xperia SP users.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND Slightly_frowning_Face

You're right friend. This option is essential. Do as I did and call or send an email to SONY XPERIA CARE. They resend me an email saying they send my request to the Staff in the company. Do it and send an email because here it is just a forum, so contact the company as I did. May be if we all send to the company they will do such a thing........ Hope so.

You can use a 3rd party file explorer or the inbuilt settings-storage option, but you will be able to move only media files.

Guys...I have a suggestion.Root your XSP and install FolderMount. You can store any apps' data on your SD card.

See how many games I have on this beast.their data totals around 20GB~
