Hi,
I have just bought Sony Xperia SP in India.
I have installed few apps and games on the phone.
I wish to transfer these apps and games on SD card however there is no provision of moving the same from Phone memory to SD card. The only option I could see was transfer to photos/ music & Videos.
Could you please suggest any option for moving the games & apps from Phone's Internal memory to SD card (a feature which is available in Xperia Neo).
I tried using few apps available on play store like App2SD etc however I was unable to move the games & apps to SD card.
Would appreciate your solution on the above.
Regards,
Ajay

While I have not experienced this issue (not able to transfer to SD card), I would advise you to download either Android File Transfer (MAC) or simply plug the phone in and open it up in your Windows browser to manually transfer large files to the SD card.
It's not possible to move apps to the SD card. This has already been discussed in other threads. Please search and use the already existing topics. You can move apps from the device/phone memory to the internal storage. Go to settings > apps > internal.
... But there is no 'internal' under 'settings > apps'.... (?)
that means you are saying xperia SP doesn't support apps transfer from Device to SD card
Sorry, I was confused with another model. Xperia SP does only have one big device/internal storage.
Instead you can check if any have become very large. Go to settings > apps > all > menu button > sort by size. Which apps is the larges and how big are they?
Hi there,
I've recently bought an experia sp and have a new 32gb sd card. I wanted to move apps and music (from Spotify) onto it, but with all the apps I've tried, they keep telling me "The device does not have a real primary external storage, or the primary external storage is emulated. Moving app to SD function cannot be supported by this device".
Any ideas of what to do? The phone is already running out of space... thanks!
You can not do so, unless you root your phone
